RESUME

I was born in Istanbul in 1976. I completed my primary education at Şehit Teğmen Kalmaz Primary School and my secondary and high school education at Ankara Gazi Anatolian High School. Between 1994 and 2001, I studied at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, and between 2002 and 2008, I completed my specialty training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery. I fulfilled my military service at Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy. During this period, I also worked part-time at Ankara Medicana International Hospital. In the same period, I gave five oral presentations at the World Vasospasm Congress held in China.

In 2009, following the State Service Obligation lottery, I worked for 500 days at Siirt State Hospital. In 2011, my book titled From Laboratory to Practice in Microneurosurgery was published by Hacettepe University Press. This book holds the distinction of being a microneurosurgery textbook based on laboratory experiments.

Between 2011 and 2012, I worked at Private Batman Dünya Hospital, and later in 2012, I started working at Eskişehir Acıbadem Hospital. During this period, I was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Acıbadem University.

In October 2013, I successfully passed the oral examination for associate professorship at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine and earned the title of Associate Professor.

In August 2017, I completed a four-month surgical fellowship at the Hannover INI Hospital in Hannover, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Madjid Samii.

In January 2018, I worked for three months as an AOSpine Fellow with a scholarship at BGU Unfallklinik, a spine surgery center in Frankfurt, Germany, where I had the opportunity to work with Prof. Dr. Frank Kandziora.

On December 21, 2018, I was appointed to a professorship position at Acıbadem University.

In 2021, I left the university and Acıbadem Hospital, opening my private clinic in March 2021. I am currently performing surgeries at two different hospitals in Eskişehir.
